Death Valley Days (1952)
Death Valley Days is an American radio and television anthology series featuring true stories of the old American West, particularly the Death Valley area. Created in 1930 by Ruth Woodman, the program was broadcast on radio until 1945 and continued from 1952 to 1970 as a syndicated television series, with reruns continuing through August 1, 1975. The series was sponsored by the Pacific Coast Borax Company and hosted by Stanley Andrews, Ronald Reagan, Robert Taylor, and Dale Robertson. With the passing of Dale Robertson in 2013, all the former Death Valley Days hosts are now deceased.

Episode 1 - Reno
Release Date: 1955-09-23Reno, Nevada's naming begins on the battlefields of Mexico where officer Reno serves with Steve and Red. While they head west Reno returns to West Point. He becomes a Civil War hero and his friends intend to honor him.

Release Date: 1955-10-20Two miners, Slack and Arnold, arrive in San Francisco but are cautious about showing the diamonds they've unearthed. They need investors to find more and greed gets the better of men who should be wiser about elaborate swindles.

Release Date: 1955-10-24War hero Clem is teased by his fellow miners because of his appearance. When Mona arrives from Kansas Clem is smitten and makes sure her life goes well. She appreciates his kindness but dates attractive Bruce until a life changing event.

The phonies learn a lesson from Bill who treats all of them as warmly as if they were legitimate family.
